Alba Frascarelli, born in 1966, received her degree in 1991 at the University of Perugia, with a thesis on "Etruscan mirrors in the Archaeological Museum of Perugia, Italy", that was published in the Corpus Speculorum Etruscorum, Italia 2, in 1995. From the same subject, she presented a paper at the annual AIA meeting in Chicago in 1997.
Other publications deal with her extensive field experience, since she has collaborated with the University of Perugia, with the Soprintendenza Archeologica per l'Umbria and with foreign Universities in various archaeological digs in central Italy, especially in Orvieto, Terni and Todi, her native town.
She has also worked for museums, both cataloguing (for example, for the project "Catalogue of cultural heritage exposed to risk") and preparing guided tours.
Beginning in 1991, she taught at the "Laboratorio Etruschi", a three-day full immersion experience for children who are introduced to archaeology and to the Etruscan civilization. On the same subject, she also developed an educational project, called "You be the archaeologist!", at the Ruth Patrick Science Educational Center at the University of South Carolina-Aiken in the spring semester 2000).
